Siete internos y un agente de vigilancia del Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación El Pinito de La Vega resultaron positivos al Virus, informó este sábado la Procuraduría General de la República.
En ese sentido, dijo la Procuraduría, que las autoridades del Nuevo Modelo de Gestión Penitenciaria (NMGP) de inmediato procedieron como establece el protocolo de Salud.
Con el traslado de los positivos y de los que estuvieron en contacto con éstos a uno de los doce centros regionales habilitados con esos fines para recibir el tratamiento correspondiente.
La detección de los casos se dio durante una jornada médica junto al Ministerio de Salud Pública en El Pinito.
Entre los afectados hay un privado de libertad de nacionalidad francesa.
Que incluyó la realización de pruebas para detectar la enfermedad a los internos y al personal de seguridad.
Ahora solo queda esperar que las autoridades tomen medidas extrema ante esa situación que se ha presentado en este nuevo penal.
Cabe destacar que el primer brote en las cárceles empezó en la victoria donde fallecieron un numero exagerado de internos.
